Seaside Cottage on the Eastern Shore

This custom home is located in St. Michaels, a small town on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. Our clients fell in love with and spent many years vacationing there before deciding to make it their permanent home. Initially, we were brought into the project to help select tile and fixtures for the kitchen. This evolved into an entire home project. We worked collaboratively with our clients and the rest of the team over several years.
The unique, custom feel of this home begins at the front door. Our client had a specific vision for the front door. They wanted a stained-glass design with a beachy feel. After discussing several options, we settled on using rondels, round disks of colored glass, in the design. We were fortunate to work with an artisan in California to bring this unique front door to life.

The gourmet kitchen features double ovens and plenty of storage space. The space flows effortlessly into an open-concept living area with two well-defined conversation areas. One of the home’s highlights is an octagonal room that serves as a dining nook. This unique architectural feature offers stunning views and a distinctive atmosphere for dining and enjoying the surroundings.
Finally, our clients wanted to create the feel of being on vacation year-round. Each of the four generous bedrooms has its own bathroom, ensuring comfort and privacy for our clients and their guests.
