Located in the very heart of Georgetown, our client’s townhouse had recently been completely renovated from the ground up. So this project required no structural work, just a design facelift.
For our design inspiration, we took our client’s connection to Louisiana and gave it a sophisticated twist. This project was a true study of using color with and between spaces. We chose muted green and gold with touches of purple and orange. The unique staircase became a focal point in the open-concept layout.
We had to use the space creatively since we were working with relatively small square footage. For example, we created a home office in a nook at the top of the stairs and provided storage wherever possible.
