Historic DC Home Meets Modern Luxuries
Cleveland Park, Washington, D.C.
A local contractor brought this historic DC home in Cleveland Park into the 21st century. We were lucky enough to be able to fill the spaces. Our clients wanted a space to gather, not only their family, but their friends as well. The result was a large open concept kitchen and dining areas so people will naturally gravitate and gather in the area.
Another request was clean and simple design for their home. They had two teens, full-time jobs, and wanted a style that would last the test of time. We utilized Perennials fabrics on the chairs and other furnishings for worry-free spills.
Also incorporated into the design project were “convertible” spaces. One example is a workspace by day, but with the furnishings chosen, converts to entertaining space at night.
