A Second Home in DC
Georgetown, DC
Our clients, originally from Puerto Rico, fell in love with Washington, D.C., while at university. They loved the area so much that they decided to buy a second home in the heart of the West Village in Georgetown, allowing them to access all that DC has to offer whenever they are in town.
They found a stand-alone home that had recently been gutted and rebuilt from top to bottom. We were asked to design all of the living spaces, including their children’s bedrooms. We also finished the basement and added an outdoor patio to extend the family’s living area.
Reflecting our client’s personality and lifestyle, we used bright, vibrant colors like royal blue and teal throughout the home. We also incorporated the client’s extensive art collection into our design (we are always happy to work with family heirlooms and sentimental pieces!) One painting was so large we had to airlift it over the garage and into the home.
It is nice to know that our clients can enjoy their custom living spaces when residing in Washington, D.C.
